The Unknown of Color Mixing

Once, my world only needed white and the quiet stability of earth tones. Those safe, predictable hues were like a protective shield, allowing me to create with certainty.

But life never stays within comfort zones. After navigating some turns and detours, I’ve come to understand growth is sometimes about allowing yourself to step into the unknown.

The colors I once avoided on my palette have now become invitations. Each mix is an experiment, each stroke might bring surprise or failure. But isn’t that what life truly is? No longer confined to the safe territory of black, gray, and white, but daring to explore those uncertain, vibrant, even slightly risky colors.

This is a gift I’m giving myself, finding new possibilities in the unknown of color mixing.
